Wrexham, Flintshire, Conwy and Denbighshire will all go into local lockdown from 6pm on Thursday, October 1.

The new measures across the counties in north Wales have been introduced following a rise in coronavirus cases.

It means areas such as Llandudno, which falls under the Conwy county borough, and Rhyl, which is part of the county of Denbighshire, will be under tighter restrictions.

Those living in Wrexham, Flintshire, Conwy and Denbighshire will not be allowed to enter or leave without a “reasonable excuse” once the lockdown measures come into force.

Here’s a map of the areas and the places included in the local lockdown.
